  3. as per taste salt
  4. 1 tsp chilli powder
  5. 1 tsp chilli flakes

  8. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  9. 2 tbs cumin and coriander crushed
  10. 5-6 green chillies chopped
  11. 5-6 tomatoes roughly sliced
  12. 4-5 medium onions sliced
  13. 2 tbs ginger garlic paste
  14. 1 cup oil
  15. 1 cup yoghurt
  16. 1/2 tsp yellow food color
  17. few drops zafran essence
  18. Half bunch mint leavea chopped
  19. Half bunch fresh coriander chopped
  20. For rice
  21. 2 tbs salt
  22. 1 tbs vinegar
  23. 1 star anise
  24. 10-15 black pepper corns
  25. 2-3 black cardamom pods
  26. 1-2 green cardamom pods
  27. 2 cinnamon sticks
  28. 1 tsp black cumin
  29. 2-3 bay leaves

Instructions to make to make Chicken Biryani😋💛🍲

  1. Take enough water in a deep large pot and boil the soaked rice until 90 percent done drain and set aside
  2. Heat oil in a large pot add cumin seeds and onions fry until golden brown
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes until the raw smell goes off then add sliced tomatoes and green chillies fry for 2 minutes
  4. Now add chicken and all dry spices and fry for 3 to 4 minutes on high flame
  5. Now add whisked yoghurt and fry for 1 minute then cover with lid and cook for 15 minutes on low flame until chicken gets tender and soft
  6. Now put half of the rice on the bottom and then layer half of the gravy over it sprinkle some chooped mint and coriander and some yellow dry food color
  7. Repeat the same step then pour 1 tbs ghee and few drops of saffron essence in the end and simmer on high flame for 5 minutes then turn the flame on low for 15 minutes.
  8. Dish it out and serve with your favorite salad and raita.I served with kachoomar and mint raita.😋
