- After few minutes add milk made to it and mix it well.
- Boil it for 30 minutes until it forms cream in it.
- Once the cream is formed turn off the gas and let the mixture cools down.
- Now for preparing the cake take all-purpose flour, baking soda and baking powder and seive it altogether in a bowl.
- Now take another bowl and add soft butter and sugar.
- Whip it well and add curd to it.(make sure the curd shoud be thick)
- Whip all the wet ingredients together for about 3-4minutes.
- Once it becomes creamy and thick add the dry ingredients within 3slots.
- Whip it for 1minute and add vanilla essence to it.
- Now fold the cake and pour it in a cake tin.
- Bake it in a pre heated oven for about 30 minutes.
- Once it is baked take it out and let it cool.
- Now take out the cake from the mould and prick it with the help of toothpick.
- Now pour one layer of the cream/malai over the cake and let it soak for few minutes.
- After few minutes again pour another layer of the malai over the cake.
- Garnish it with the chopped dry fruits and refrigerate it for 2-3 hrs so that it gets set properly.
- Sprinkle some Kesar before eating.
